If you're a jazz fan at all, then you've probably heard of Bill Evans Trio. Arguably one of the best jazz bands of all time. Bill Evans Trio was created by Bill Evans, Scott Lafaro, and Paul Motian. The trio only released three records. Their album, Sunday At the Village Vanguard has been called one of the greatest jazz recordings of all time. A week after recording Sunday At the Village Vanguard, Scott LaFaro died in a car accident, and the band disassembled, leaving both Evans and Motian to continue with other projects.
