I saw these guys play at the Shugazi festival in Long Beach a while back, and they were really something else. Nothing is a shoegazey band from Philadelphia and just released their new album, Tired Of Tomorrow, a few months back on Relapse Records. Not only is the album really good, they are even better live. They played on top of a parking garage, and their sound was so big that it cascaded all throughout Long Beach that night. I didn't realize these guys were such a big deal until I saw all the die hard fans screaming for them to play their favorite songs. The crowd they were playing for were, for lack of a better word, a bunch of "Cool Kids," so it was interesting to see the crowd get really loud and excited for them to play.
